Case description
The NABU and the SAPO accuse MP Serhii Shakhov of false declaration in the amount of more than UAH 60 million. The case involves apartments, luxury houses, land plots, etc.
According to the investigation, in 2021 Shakhov, using his electronic signature, submitted a declaration for 2020. By completing it, he confirmed his awareness of the requirement to provide accurate information. However, in the relevant section of the declaration he did not indicate information about the woman with whom he lived as one family in 2020 and shared a household, as well as about their children.
He also failed to declare the property belonging to her worth more than UAH 7.14 million that was in his use. In particular, two cars were not declared — a Mercedes-Benz (2015, worth about UAH 850,000) and a Land Rover Range Rover (2013), both belonging to her.
In addition, he did not indicate corporate rights worth UAH 16.34 million and the fact that this woman was the ultimate beneficial owner of Davinci Center LLC (60% of the share capital, UAH 10.66 million). Nor did his declaration include information about her income of more than UAH 24.48 million.

Thus, according to the investigation, the discrepancy between the declared and actual assets of Shakhov and his family amounted to UAH 59.48 million.
In total, in his 2020 declaration, MP Serhii Shakhov “forgot” to indicate 13 apartments in the center of Kyiv, eight parking spaces, two houses in an elite cottage town near Kyiv with a total area of more than 2,000 square meters, 27 land plots with a total area of about 115 hectares in the Kyiv region, a cottage, non-residential real estate, two cars. Neither were there any mentions of shares in business entities and other income from the sale of real estate. In general, this information differs by more than UAH 60 million from the reliable information.
Shakhov is charged under Article 366-2, part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In March 2023, he was put on the wanted list. Then, according to the defense, he was in a hospital in Kyrgyzstan.
