According to Slovo i Dilo, the HACC has received a UAH 4 million bail payment for Roman Shenenko,   suspected of inciting a $3.5 million bribe to officials of the SAPO and the HACC.

The case involves a PGO prosecutor and several lawyers who, according to the investigation, offered a suspect in a criminal case to arrange the case’s closure under the “Lozovyi amendments” by bribing SAPO and HACC officials with $3.5 million.

The suspects were exposed by NABU detectives after receiving an advance of $200,000. Their actions have been preliminarily qualified under Articles 15(2), 27(4), and 369(4) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported earlier, on October 10, the HACC ordered pre-trial detention for the prosecutor, with the alternative of bail.
