On September 24, the HACC granted the motion of former NEURC member Olena Antonova, a defendant in the Rotterdam+ case, to be released from criminal liability due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

Accordingly, the proceedings against Antonova were closed on this ground. The civil claim against her was left without consideration. It should be noted that earlier tjhe HACC had similarly released from liability five other defendants in this case — former NEURC chair Oksana Kryvenko and former NEURC members Oleksandr Formahei, Dmytro Kovalenko, Borys Tsyhanenko, and Yurii Holliak.

Olena Antonova had been accused of official negligence.

In addition, most of today’s court session was spent on considering a motion to recuse the prosecutor, filed by the defense. The court denied the motion for recusal.
