As of September 19, developer Vladyslava Molchanova, suspected in the case of the unlawful acquisition of 18 hectares of land under the Stolychnyi market valued at more than UAH 160 million, has not posted the bail set by the court. This was reported by the HACC press service.

As reported earlier, on September 11, HACC imposed an interim measure on Molchanova in the form of bail of UAH 100 million. Since then, the five-day period established by law for posting bail has already expired. This may serve as grounds for the court to impose a stricter interim measure.

During the hearing on the pre-trial measure, Molchanova stated that she had no intention of posting any funds. At the same time, the prosecutor, who had requested bail of UAH 300 million, presented evidence of her luxurious lifestyle. In particular, according to him, in May 2021 she rented a yacht with crew for a week for nearly €390,000. Another fact presented, supported by photos and documents, was that Molchanova allegedly signed a memorandum with the Beverly Hills Film Festival on organizing a $150,000 lunch with Mike Tyson. 

The NABU and the SAPO suspect Vladyslava Molchanova, former MP Yurii Ivaniushchenko, and several others of unlawfully acquiring 18 hectares of land worth more than UAH 160 million. According to the investigation, in 2021, through individuals under their control in the State Geocadastre, they first leased the land plots, then sold them to companies linked to the developer, and later arranged their joint use.
