The NABU has declared former MP Yurii Ivaniushchenko wanted in connection with the case of the legalisation of 18 hectares of state land under the Stolychnyi market, valued at more than UAH 160 million.

According to the investigation, in the spring of 2021, a conflict arose between Ivaniushchenko and developer — allegedly Vladyslava Molchanova — over control of the Stolychnyi market. Molchanova reportedly sought to bring the market under the control of her associates. Officials of the State Geocadastre changed the land’s designated use, divided it into nine plots of two hectares each, and transferred them into the ownership of these individuals. The plots were then sold to three companies linked to Molchanova.

Subsequently, the NABU claims, Molchanova and Ivaniushchenko resolved the conflict by signing an informal “memorandum of understanding” on the joint use of the market land. In September 2021, a trusted associate of Ivaniushchenko became one of the beneficiaries of the companies that had acquired the land plots.
