On October 21, 2025, the NABU completed the pre-trial investigation in the case involving oligarch Kostiantyn Zhevaho, according to reports from Sudovyi Reporter and a statement published on the Prosecutor General’s Office website.

The NABU has also opened the case materials for the defense to review. Once this stage is complete, the case will be referred to the HACC for trial.

The HACC Appeals Chamber had earlier authorized a special pre-trial (in absentia) investigation against Zhevaho. Meanwhile, French authorities are currently considering his extradition.
